ENKHELIS LA LONDE Rosé 2013

TASTING:
This vinified, cask matured rosé is a pink coral tinted colour. The bouquet is complex with hints of quince, honey and vanilla. The palate is generous and structured, which has a beautiful spicy, grilled finish. This rosé is perfect for fine food.

GRAPE VARIETIES:
Produced principally from old vines of Grenache (planted in 1956) and Tibouren (1958).
88 % Grenache, 8 % Tibouren, 4 % Rolle.

VINIFICATION:
Destemming, short maceration. Pneumatic pressing. Selection of first tasting juices. Decanting of worts at 15° for 24 h. Silt removal. Fermentation 18°in oak barrel.

AGEING:
100 % of production fermented and aged on lees in vat in new French oak barrels (Allier) of 400 l for 12 months.

FOOD PAIRING:
Serve between 10° and 12° and enjoy the Enkhelis cuvée throughout the year, with a love of spices, is your essential partner of a refined sea cuisine and the exception agreement with the new trends of Japanese gastronomy. It also tells you the story of a change of scenery without a trip: assortment of deli meats, toasts of spicy soubressade, fresh figs on bed of raw ham, salmon or smoked eel, duck breast crust of walnut sauceSweet with orange, rougail sausage, Lebanese cumin keftas, Indian curry, chili con carne. An instant gourmet pleasure: frozen nougat with candied nuts and orange peel, prune pie and its cinnamon ice cream ball.
