PRESTIGE Blanc 2019

TASTING:
This robe with golden reflections presages a cuvée of character with the scents of brioche and honey, the mouth all round and sweetness presents subtle vanilla and smoky notes,

GRAPE VARIETIES:
85 % Rolle, 15 % Ugni blanc.

VINIFICATION:
Destemming, short maceration. Pneumatic pressing, selection of first tasting juices. Decanting of worts at 15° for 24 h. Silt removal. Fermentation 18° in oak barrel.

AGEING:
On lees in French oak barrels (Allier) of 400 l for 11 months (20 % of new barrels).

FOOD PAIRING:
Serve between 10° and 12° the Prestige blanc cuvée will do wonders with foie gras, a cod brandade, monkfish skewers with bacon; but also with a Lyon sausage with pistachios, a sauerkraut, a rabbit simmered with old mustard, a royal pasta with pistou or parsley cheese or matured goat cheese. Instant gourmet: walnut and caramel pie, cannelés, caramel cream and pear pie.

BEST TO DRINK : 5 years.

PRESTIGE LA LONDE Rosé 2021

TASTING:
This rosé with its pale pink robe and peach skin tone, develops its guava, iodine and spice fragrances. With a great finesse on the palette, it oscillates between opulence and refreshment with a spicy final note. The quintessential Angueiroun terroir in a bottle.

GRAPE VARIETIES:
80 % Grenache, 10 % Syrah, 5 % Cinsault,5 % Rolle.

VINIFICATION:
Destemming, short maceration. Pneumatic pressing, selection of first tasting juices. Decanting of worts at 15° for 24 h. Silt removal. Fermentation 18°.

FOOD PAIRING:
Serve between 10° and 12°. The elegance and the finesse of this wine marries deliciously with seafood hors-d'oeuvres, a palm hearts salad, ham cake, a Marseilles Bouillabaisse, rabbit à la Provençale, a veal tajine with olives, fish grilled with Mediterranean herbs, a red mullet salad with tapenade or stuffed miniature Provençale vegetables. Instant gourmet pleasure: Saint-Tropez tart, macaroons, strawberry soup, melon.
